Crown Agents recruits Training and Professional Development Manager

We are seeking to recruit a senior level position of Training and Professional Development Manager whose role will be to oversee the sales and delivery of a complete array of training solutions to our clients within the public and private sectors and to high profile international aid donors within Africa.

Job Title: Training and Professional Development Manager
Summary role description: 
The successful candidate will oversee the sales, marketing, design and delivery of training courses which are either on an "open book" or customised basis using the latest learning and development tools and techniques ensuring world class capacity building for our range of clients. 

Our expectation is that the successful applicant will manage a team of local staff, be involved in business development, and key client relationship management with a short term focus on dealing with existing clients, growing trainer's database and market intelligence. The long term focus will be to support business growth in Nigeria and other countries. 

Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you should 
•             Hold degree level qualifications, although advanced degree is preferred 
•             Have International or regional experience within an international agency environment. 

•             A genuinely varied background in cross-sector training and an understanding of training and 
development consultancy market 
•             Proven practical success in delivery of sales targets preferably within a similar function. 

Attributes such as patience, resilience and unflappable demeanour will lend themselves well for this role. So 
will flexibility and adaptability, proactive and creative nature demonstrating new ideas to best achieve revenue targets within corporate parameters (linking sales to business needs) Additional requirements for the role are computer literacy, and an interest and a desire to continually improve personal knowledge.
